Raymond Edward Cannon

Raymond Edward Cannon, 66

FEDERALSBURG - Raymond Edward Cannon, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, in Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. He was 66. He was born on Jan. 13, 1942 in Caroline County, the son of the late Harry H Cannon and Amanda Jane Brummell. He attended Lockerman High School in Caroline County. He later worked as a laborer at various places, last working for the Townsend Company. He enjoyed socializing with his family and friends, listening to oldies music, and sci-fi movies. He also was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his companion of more than 34 years, Mae Fannie Belfield of Federalsburg; ten children, Dale Wise and Dwayne Wise, both of Greensboro, Raymond Frazier of Seaford, Michelle Belfield of Salisbury, Gloria Belfield and Josephine Brown, both of Federalsburg, Barbara Hawkes, of Baltimore, Louis Washington, of Del., Larry Wise of Pa., and William "Bill" Craig, of Ridgely; five siblings, Maurice Cannon, of Easton, Robert Lee Brummell, of Texas, Helen Cannon, of Denton, Ernest Brummell, of Federalsburg, and Shirley Brummell, of Ohio; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg, with the Rev. Lewis Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Share memories with the family at www.framptom.com.
