WILLARDS - Raymond "Skip" Robert Brady died after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at his home. Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Raymond Peter Brady and Helen Charlotte Peterson Brady.
He was a lifelong commercial fisherman and operated the boat "F/V Delphinus."
He is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Marjorie Irene Brady; six, Patricia Stewart of New Jersey, Helen Zysk of Georgia, Donna Todd of Maryland, Shannon Brady of Maryland, "Skipper" Brady of Tennessee and Dayne Brady of Cayman Islands; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Barry Brady of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Samler, and a daughter, Kathleen Brady.
The family will conduct private memorial services at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
