CAMBRIDGE-Ramona Ellen Keene Jones went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 26, 2015 at her home. Born July 30, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Leonard Keene, Sr. and Evie Elizabeth Waters-Keene. She attended school in Dorchester County, graduating from the F.D. St. Clair High School in 1946. Ramona was employed at Trappe Frozen Foods, Bumble Bee Tuna and Airpax. In her younger years "Mona" loved to play tennis, basketball and roller skate. She was known as a lover of antiques and enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets and many yard sales on the Eastern Shore. She owned a place of business, "Ramona's Random Rack" on Park Lane in Cambridge where she sold a variety of wares. She was an active member and supporter of Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church where she served as an Usher. She loved praising the Lord and was often seen in churches around the county during revival time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fulton Jones, three sisters, Ruth Kiah, Evelyn Scott, Laura Johnson and one brother, Isaac Leonard Keene Jr. Ramona is survived by her daughter, Angela Jones; a grandson, Devon Jones; two sisters, Edna Watkins of Cambridge, MD and Elaine (Richard) Stanley of New Jersey and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be remembered for her smile and infectious laugh. There are many pleasant memories of "Mona". Cambridge has lost a friends. Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 2nd 11am at Waugh Chapel UM Church 425 High St Cambridge with a viewing one hour prior. Interment in the church cemetery.
