Federalsburg, Md. - Phillip Henry Robinson passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at UMSMC at Easton, Md. He was 82. Born in Crapo, Md. on Aug. 7, 1931, he was the son of the late Freeland and Hazel Mills Robinson. He was a graduate of the Frederick School for the Deaf. He worked and retired from Airpax in Cambridge, and Phillips Packing Company. He was an active member of DILA where he had many friends and companions. He was also a member of the Cambridge Moose Lodge #1211 and the Federalsburg Senior Center. He loved to bowl and dance. Phillip is survived by one special niece, Tammie Presley of Federalsburg with whom he had made his home for the last 8 years. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Diana Robinson and Kay Robbins Robinson McCarter both of Cambridge. In addition he is survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews. His wife the former, Hilda Green preceded him in death as well as one sister, Ruth Coleman Gerardi; and two brothers, James Robinson, Sr. and Robert "Bobby" Robinson. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Williamson Funeral Home, 311 S. Main Street, Federalsburg, Md., his great-nephew, Roe Dudley officiated. Pallbearers were James S. Robinson Jr., Robert Jeffrey Robinson, Sr., Scott Meredith Robinson, Sr., Stephen Monroe Robinson, B.J. Presley and Brian Presley. Interment was at the Dorchester Memorial Park Cemetery in Cambridge, MD. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1315 Mt.
