WILLARDS -- Peggy J. Lawrence, of Willards, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Freddie and Helen Layfield Massey. She enjoyed gardening and could never pass up a good yard sale. She is survived by her husband, David W. Lawrence; one son, James C. "J.C." Fitzsimmons both of Willards; and one daughter, Tina Lawrence of Snow Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Massey. A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City.
