Paul N. Blackwell III, 40
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - Paul N. Blackwell III, 40, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at the Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, Pa.
He was born in Fayetteville, N.C. on April 1, 1967 and was a son of Paul N. Blackwell Jr. and the late Carolyn Estelle Melvin Blackwell.
He attended schools in North Carolina, and he and his family moved to Cambridge in 1981. Paul graduated from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School in 1985.
He and Ann were married on June 18, 2002. He had worked at Omicron Consulting in Philadelphia as a computer programmer/software architect. He had been in declining health for a number of years.
Survivors include his wife, Ann K. Blackwell of Conshohocken, Pa.; one stepdaughter, SueAnn Anderson of Cambridge; two sisters, Teresa D. Hughes and her husband, Woody Hughes of Cambridge and Sonya A. Blackwell of Cambridge; his father, P. Norman Blackwell Jr. of Cambridge; one nephew, Christopher Blackwell of Cambridge; two aunts, Carolyn B. Harvell of Fayetteville, N.C. and Irene B. Lane of Fayetteville, N.C.; one uncle, Larry Melvin of Fayetteville, N.C. and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Susie Keene of Cambridge; a sister-in-law, Katie Andrews and her husband, Mike Andrews of Easton; two aunts, Phemia Cyr and her husband, Parris Cyr of Hurlock, and Bessie Brock and nieces, Krystal D. Sheeler and Jennifer Tinsley; a nephew-in-law, T.J. Cannon and various cousins-in-law and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn E. Blackwell; his father-in-law, Melvin Keene and his grandparents, N. Paul Blackwell and his wife, Gladys Blackwell, Melvin Keene, Alton and Annie K. Melvin.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the East New Market Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
