SEAFORD, Del. - Paul Russell Marine, of Seaford, passed away on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at the home of his niece, Debbie Wheedleton near Galestown. He was 79. He was born May 28, 1931, in Reid's Grove, Dorchester Co., Md., the son of the late Otis and Neda V. Barnes Marine. He served in the United States Marine Corps earning the rank of Lance Corporal. He worked for Delmarva Power Co. as a Control Room Operator for the Vienna Power Plant. He was a member of the Sharptown Legion Post 218, and a member of the VFW. He also was a member of the Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by two brothers, Franklin D. Marine and his wife Madeline of East New Market, Md., and Martin F. Redington, Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Dagsboro; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Marine, Floyd Marine; and a sister, Virgie Richardson. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Dorchester Memorial Park in Cambridge, Md. Friends called at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory Brookview-Eldorado Fire Co., 5752 Rhodesdale-Eldorado Rd., Rhodesdale, MD 21659; or to the Coastal Hospice, P.O.
