RHODESDALE - Norma Lee Elliott, 69, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Mardela Springs, daughter of the late Howard Jonathan Marvel and Pauline E. Wilson Marvel.
Mrs. Elliott was a 1954 graduate of Mardela High School. She worked for many years in the poultry industry as an egg collector for Robert Hughes in Seaford, Del. She attended Brookview United Methodist Church and also attended Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Reliance.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by one son, Harlan B. Elliott Jr. of Rhodesdale; two daughters, P. Frances Elliott Todd of Rhodesdale and her husband, Dennis, and Dawn Elliott Thompson of Sharptown and her husband, Bobby; three grandchildren, Dennis Todd Jr., Elliott Todd, and Ariel Thompson; one brother, Arthur R. Marvel of Salisbury and his wife, Joyce; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Services will be held at noon Thursday at the Zeller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Delmer Willey and Pastor Drew Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Todd Sr., Dennis Todd Jr., Elliott Todd, Bobby Thompson, Ariel Thompson, Ross Marvel, Brian Marvel and Barry Marvel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
