DELMAR - Norma Bozman Cugler died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin. Born in Dames Quarter, she was a daughter of the late John and Ada White Bozman. She graduated from Deal Island High School in 1951 and in 1968 moved to Temple Hill, where she enjoyed a 27-year career with the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. Following her retirement in 1995, she returned to the Eastern Shore. She was a member of the Delmar VFW Post 8276 Ladies Auxiliary and a 62-year member of the Adah Chapter No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Cliff Cugler; a sister, Evelyn Long; and brothers, Howard, Glendon and Elbert. She is survived by a son, Keith Cugler, of Dagsboro; a daughter, Michelle Ellis, of Georgia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Bozman, of Princess Anne; and several nieces and nephews. To honor Norma's wishes, no formal services will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
