SALISBURY - Natalie Gannon Channell died Jan. 15, 2017, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Born in Talbot County, she was the daughter of the late William Nathaniel Gannon and Rose Sharp Gannon. She worked at the Talbot County Clerk of the Court from 1933 until 1941, and retired from the Talbot County Health Department in 1976. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. When she turned 101, her story was published in a book "If I Live To Be 100; The Wisdom of Centenarians." She was predeceased by her son, John G. Channell in 1992; and her brother, Daniel J. Gannon. She is survived by three children, Sherry C. Haddaway, of Salisbury, William N. Channell, of State College, Pa., and Rozann C. Hemphill, of Bishopville; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. Interment was in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
