Meta M. Mills EASTON - Meta M. Mills departed this life on Monday, May 24, 2010, at her home in Easton. Born July 3, 1928, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Jamie P. and Cora L. Mills. Surviving are two sisters, Frances M. Twilley and Marian M. Doty, both of Cambridge; a brother Jamie P. Mills, Jr. of Cambridge; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents were three sisters, Virginia M. Edwards, Katherine M. Towers, and Betty J. Yowell; and a brother, Sydney G. Mills. A committal service led by The Rev. Mary Ann Farnell, cousin of the deceased, was held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Md. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to one's favorite charity. Arrangements are being handled by Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A.
