SALISBURY — Bishop LaTrelle Easterling, who now serves as the head of the Peninsula-Delaware and Baltimore-Washington Annual conferences of The United Methodist Church, will meet with parishioners this month.
She succeeds Bishop Peggy Johnson, who is retiring, and the arrangement ends the Pen-Del Conference’s affiliation with the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. The leadership change began Sept. 1.
Bishop Easterling will be on the Lower Eastern Shore in Salisbury 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1401 Camden Ave. to meet with parishioners either in-person or via Zoom.
The same schedule will be set for Sept. 21 and 22 as Bishop Easterling travels to the Delaware District and Upper Shore District, respectively.
Pre-registration is required to attend either in-person or by Zoom.
