Mary L. H. Palmore

Mary Louise Holliday Palmore, 76, passed away on Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

She was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Dorchester County, daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Holliday.

Ms. Palmore attended the public schools of Dorchester County and was a housewife.

She married Willie Palmore who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Donte' Holliday (Tammy); 10 grandchildren, Issac, Dyquan, Donte Jr., Dontaeza and Daqunaty Holliday, Joseph Chester (Deanna), Joann McCready (Darren), Tiene, Raymond and Jermaine Holliday; two sisters, Elois Wright of Cambridge and Annie Holliday Wilson of Trappe; two aunts, Martha Jones of Cambridge and Delancy Young of Baltimore; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Holliday; eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Palmore was preceded in death by two daughters, June and Portia Holliday.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, at the Henry Funeral Home, P.A., with a viewing held one hour prior to the services. The Rev. Alan Gould will officiate.
