FRUITLAND - Mary Elizabeth Mason Bohnak died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her home. Born in Pocomoke City, she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Elizabeth Mason. She and her late husband were founders and owned the family run, Bohnak Mobile Home Park since the late 1950's. She also was a 38 year, active member of Fruitland Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Ann Mildon, of Fruitland; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Bohnak, Sr.; a son, Joseph John Bohnak, Jr.; and four siblings, Lola Twigg, Myrtle Phillips, Doris Mason, and Preston Mason. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 23, 2016, at the 3CUSA Church in Delmar; interment was at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
