MADISON - Mary Agnes Pennewell, 81, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at her home.

Born April 15, 1925, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Carter Baublitz. She was the youngest of eight children.

She was married for 37 years to Amos Fairbanks Pennewell Jr. who preceded her in death in 1979.

Surviving are children, Bonnie Abend of Madison, Amos Pennewell III of Woodbine, Sherrie Roden of New Windsor and Susan Wolf of Pittsburgh, Pa. She has eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday from Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville.

Friends may call tonight at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m..
