Marilyn Evans Brimer

Marilyn Evans Brimer passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1947, to Leonard B. Evans and Norma Tyler Evans on Rhodes Point, Smith Island. On Jun. 3 1978, she married the love of her life, Clifton Paul "Cliff" Brimer. They spent 36 wonderful years together until his death on Aug. 22, 2014.
Marilyn worked at Rubberset for 28 years and she was proud of the work she did while employed there. She enjoyed many activities and interests. She always loved working in her yard, spending time with family and friends, building doll houses, and putting puzzles together. She was also known for her kindness and thoughtfulness to others. She possessed a true giving spirit and would do anything she could to help.
She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Thomas and Becky Tyler, both of Crisfield and Tina Corbin, and husband Ronnie of Tylerton. She has several nieces and nephews. Lenny Evans and wife Mary Beth of Chestertown, Darren and Leah Evans of Salisbury, Chris and CiCi Ownes of Crisfield, Marsha and Greg Melvin of Salisbury, Julie and Randy Laird of Crisfield, Taylor Corbin of Tylerton and several great nieces and nephews and their families. She also is survived by her step-sister, Carolyn Evans; step-brothers, Russ Marshall, Philip Marshall, and Dallas Marshal and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Brimer; parents, Leonard and Norma Evans Marshall; step-father, Fred Marshall; and brothers Lennie Evans and William Paul Evans.
Memorial donations can be made in Marilyn's memory to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733 or Calvary Church in c/o Missy Tyler Rhodes Point, Maryland 21824.
Marilyn continued on with her spirit of giving even unto her death by donating her body to science so that she may continue to help others. No funeral will be held, but her wishers were to have a private family gathering to celebrate her life which will be held at an unspecified date.
