SALISBURY — On June 7, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s responded to the 900 Block of Mineola Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arriving on scene, deputies located 36-year-old Brookes Lamar Dashiell seated in the driver’s side of his vehicle. Dashiell sustained numerous gunshot wounds and was transported to Tidal Health Emergency Room where he succumbed to his injuries. The Criminal Investigation Division responded and assumed the investigation.
