Mable Mae Teagle, 83 SALISBURY - Mable Mae Teagle died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at Coastal Hospice at The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Snow Hill, she was a daughter of the late Viola M. Wilson Harmon and James "Buck" Edward Harmon Sr. She received her education in the public schools of Worcester County. She was employed by Perdue Farms in Salisbury for many years, before moving to Salisbury University, where she worked until retirement in 1999. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Salisbury. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Daniel H. Teagle; a daughter, Deborah Marshall of Sugar Land, Texas; a granddaughter, Andrea Lynn Teagle of Waldorf, Md.; stepsons, Lonnie Bishop of Alexandria, La., and Roy Jackson of Snow Hill; siblings, Bennie Lee Harmon of Salisbury, Edna Dale of Wilmington, Anna Lee Beale of Trenton, N.J., Stella Drakeford of Salisbury and Teresa Ward of Snow Hill; seven other grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest Harmon Sr. of Baltimore and James Edward Harmon Jr. of Salisbury; and a sister, Shirley Jenkins of Rhodesdale. A Celebration of Life was held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
