Louise Hochmuth

MARDELA SPRINGS - Louise Hochmuth, 72, of Mardela Springs, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Massena, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Acacio Domingos and Joaquina Rodrigues Domingos. She attended Athol Baptist Church and had recently retired as the office manager for Scarborough Fair. Prior to that, she was a receptionist for Wigglesworth, Layton and Moyers. She enjoyed volunteering at Harvest Ministries and Habitat For Humanity. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William Francis Hochmuth; five children, Patricia Marshall of Hebron, William Hochmuth, Jr. of Cantonment, Fla., Charles Hochmuth of Sharptown, Henry Chavez of Frederick, Md., and Maria Ellena Chavez-Ruark of Marriottsville, Md.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Domingos of Potsdam, N.Y.; and three sisters, Irene DeGraff of Scotia, N.Y., Mary Villnave of Portland, Ore., and Nellie Overmier of Mattydale, N.Y. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, George Domingos. A funeral service was held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
