Loretta Marine

LAKE PLACID, Fla. - Loretta Joyce "Sue" Marine, 63, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at her daughter's home in Federalsburg.

She was born March 4, 1943, in Ridgely, the daughter of late Harry Cohey Sr. and Margaret Loretta Pittinger Cohey.

She was a graduate of Catalina High School in Tucson, Ariz., and was a previous owner of Movie Shack in Federalsburg, Preston and Hurlock. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge 2374 in Lake Placid, Fla., and was a former member of the Lake Country Golf Club.

She is survived by her husband, Don W. Marine of Lake Placid, Fla.; two daughters, Donna Compher and her husband, Kevin, of Ocean Pines, and Mikie Phillips and her husband, John, of Federalsburg; four grandchildren, Jordan Phillips, Jamie Phillips, Atlea Compher and Mollie Compher; a brother, Charles Cohey; a sister, Delores Smith of Fairfield, Pa.; and an aunt, Janette Cohey of Ridgely.

Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Tom McKelvey. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Lake Placid, Fla.
