Linda Diana Davis

Linda Diana Davis, 40

HOUSTON, Texas - On Thursday, June 12, 2008, Linda Diana Davis, 40, passed away at Memorial Hermann Medical Center.

Linda was born on April 22, 1968 in Salisbury. Linda was the daughter of the late Charles Vernon Davis Jr. and was raised by Nicie and the late Charles Vernon Davis Sr. She attended Dorchester County Public Schools and was a graduate of Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, class of 1986.

Linda pursued several educational endeavors and gained superior skills in culinary arts. She was an excellent baker. However, Linda's crowning achievement was her children. She is survived by her five children: Brandon Chester, Joshua Lawrence, James Lawrence, Danielle Ellis and Kameron Kitcheon, all of Houston, Texas.

In addition to her father and grandfather, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Theretta Barton.

She is survived by Nicie Davis and Pearlie Davis; eight sisters: Cheryl Davis, Virginia Peguese, Cynthia Thomas, Arlene Thomas, Marlene Thomas, Ernestine Stevens, and Precious Saunders; six brothers, Charles Vernon Davis III, Vernon Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Cardell Thomas, Gregory Thomas, and Rodney Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at Christ United Methodist Church, Airey Road with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Fork Neck Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Henry Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge.
