FEDERALSBURG - Lillie Bell Wakefield Webb, 93, of Federalsburg passed away at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1923, in Raleigh, N.C.
Ms. Wakefield was a homemaker. She attended Mission Hill Apostolic Church in Hurlock under Pastor John W. Mosley until her health began to fail. She was a faithful member and enjoyed attending noon day prayer. She loved to cook and bake and was known for her homemade rolls. She also enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by five step-children, Alfreda Holland of Preston, Frances V. Webb of Seaford, Charles L. Webb of Grasonville, Bertha A. Kellum of Bridgeville, Dennis L. Webb of Preston; two grandchildren, Monroe L. Webb of Cambridge, and Jovonya Kellum of Bridgeville; several great-grandchildren, a brother, Thomas Jones, and several other relatives and friends.
A memorial graveside service for her will be held on 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Marsh Creek Road, Preston, Md.
