MARDELA SPRINGS - Levin Joseph Williams Jr. died Friday, July 26, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, his parents were the late Florine Williams and Levin J. Williams Sr. He graduated from Mardela Middle High School and served in the U.S. Army for 20 years, retiring as an E-8 Master Sergeant. He later worked as a supervisor for the U.S. Postal service for another 24 years. He was a member of both the VFW and American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Gail Williams of Mardela Springs; four children, Felicia Jackson, Brittany Williams, Brittany and Gregory Landers; a grandson; four brothers, Arnold Camper, Calvin Williams, Rodney Johnson and Darnell Cotton; two, Arlene Hird and Brenda Williams; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris L. Robinson and Linda Cotton. Friday A funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury.
