CRISFIELD - Kenneth Boyd "Chicken" Bloodsworth, 65, of died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Perry Point (Md.) Veterans Medical Center.
Born in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Wade Duer Bloodsworth and Virginia Horner Bloodsworth Farlow. His wife, Peggy Taylor Bloodsworth, is also deceased.
He was formerly employed by Sears as a warehouse worker and was a Vietnam army veteran. Mr. Bloodsworth was a member of Crisfield American Legion Post 16 and Crisfield Elks Lodge 1044.
He is survived by a daughter, Kenda Parker and her husband, Brandon, of Valley Lee, Md.; a son, Kenneth Boyd Bloodsworth Jr.; two grandchildren, Jake Riggin and Jordan Riggin; two step-grandchildren, Britni Parker and Brionna Parker; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wade and Carolyn Bloodsworth of Salisbury and Richard and Joanie Bloodsworth of Mt. Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held March 15 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. The Rev. Philip Morris officiated. Burial with military honors was in Asbury United Methodist Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
