SALISBURY - Kathy M. Yowell died on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born Jan. 18, 1960, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Preston Herrell and Helen Howard Yowell.
She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Dorchester General Hospital. She was often volunteering at the Humane Society walking dogs, and at PetSmart working with the cats.
She is survived by her two sisters, Jo Ann Nelson of Centreville, Md., and Jeannie McGovern of Salisbury; a brother, Carl Yowell of Randallstown, Md.; a nephew and two nieces.
A memorial service was held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation was held one hour prior to the service.
