Juveniles suspected in starting fire

SALISBURY — Salisbury Fire Department responded to a fire on Nokomis Avenue at approximately 2:29 p.m. on July 2.

Upon arrival Firemen began extinguishing the burning of a 8x12 frame shed.

The area of origin was the exterior of the shed.

The estimated amount of structure damage is $6,000 and contents $2,500.

The preliminary cause of the fire was arson.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office reported the arrest of two juveniles is pending. The Juvenile referral would be sent to the Department of Juvenile Services.
