Juanita R. Shrieves

SALISBURY - Juanita Rosemon Shrieves died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at the Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Born in Pocomoke City, she was the daughter of the late Charles "Charlie" T. Mears and Mae A. Davis Mears. A member of the Bethany Methodist Church in Pocomoke City for many years, she was a 1956 graduate of Pocomoke High School. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Ray Shrieves, Calvin Lee Shrieves; two sisters; and one brother. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Merritt "Junior" W. Shrieves, Jr.; three children, Glen Shrieves, Greg Shrieves and Jeff Shrieves; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial was at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
