CAMBRIDGE - Josephine Dean de Loiselle, age 52, of Cambridge, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. Born on Oct. 18, 1956, in Riverhead, Long Island, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Ollie Edward Dean and Margaret Mary Butler. Ms. de Loiselle attended the Chesapeake Community College and was a member of The Alpha Sigma Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. Josephine worked for the National Bank of Cambridge in the customer service department at the High Street branch. Josephine was a follower of Christ. Her hobbies included reading, baking, sewing and relaxing particularly with a cup of tea. She was a true animal lover at heart. Prior to living in Cambridge, she had resided at Hoopersville, Md., where she had worked at Dean Tyler Country Store. Surviving is a son, Sean de Loiselle of Secretary; three daughters, Beth Guerin and her husband Hans of Baltimore, Erin Domke and her husband Lee of Alexandria, Va., Kate de Loiselle of Grantham, Pa.; a sister, Maureen Dean; and a brother, James Dean, both of South Hampton, N.Y.; and her six pets, Nova, Samantha, Licorice, Catalina, Mihos and Seymour; and her childrens cats which she considered her "grandkitties." Preceding her in death besides her parents, is a brother, John Dean. A Celebration of Life Service with Afternoon Tea was held Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home.
