HOOPERS ISLAND - On Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, John V. Amy Sr. passed away.
He is survived by his wife, Regina S. Amy (nee Schneider); children - John V. Amy Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, Joseph R. Amy and his wife, Amy, Clare A. Walker and her husband, Charles and Peter V. Amy and his wife, Lauri; grandchildren - John, Chris, Margaret, Kitty, Patrick, Samantha, Melissa, London, Sunny, Summer, Brett and Colin; sister, Ann A. Shea and brother, Paul M. Amy
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred V. Amy, James D. Amy and Charles R. Amy.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Star of the Sea on Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. Following Mass the family will receive friends in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Hill Foundation; P.O. Box 187; Fishing Creek, MD 21634.
Arrangements are being handled by the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., Baltimore.
