SALISBURY - John Patrick Kelley died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, his late parents were the late William Handy Kelley and Ruth Mary Elizabeth Tindall Kelley.
He graduated from Mardela Senior High School in 1960 and joined the U.S. Air Force. Returning home, he worked with his father as a general contractor, then joined Dresser Industries, retiring after 34 years as a Production Supervisor and Training Coordinator. Later, he worked for Wicomico County as a Ferry Operator and retired five years later. He was a member of the American Legion and Freemasonry.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sons, Kevin Patrick Kelley and Sean William Kelley; stepchildren, Kimberly Ann Bryan, Lisa Bryan Wagamon and Sean Wayne Bryan; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond William Kelley and Oland Kelley.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
