SALISBURY - Joan Kirshberg Davis died at her home on Feb. 12, 2018, after a battle with cancer. A native of Queens, N.Y., she graduated from St. John's University and earned a J.D. from St. John's University Law School. She worked in Rochester, N.Y., at Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Co. as a legal editor and for many years worked as a career counselor at the University of Rochester. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Russell Davis, with whom she moved to Salisbury in 2004; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Lynch and Cynthia Parks, a nephew, Jason Lynch; and a niece, Terry Given. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Stanley D. Kirshberg and Kathleen Kirshberg. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. A funeral mass was held at St. Francis de Sales Church in Salisbury on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. Interment was at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
