EAST NEW MARKET - Jennings V. Frock Jr. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at his residence. He was 76.
He was born, April 12, 1930, in Carroll County, son of the late Jennings V. Frock Sr. and the late Beulah Keefer Frock of Westminster.
Upon moving to the Eastern Shore, he had employment at the Eastern Shore State Hospital for 19 years as a male nurse. Other employment included the Boat Dock in Cambridge and he retired several years ago from the Queen Anne Grain Company.
Mr. Frock was a member of the Faith Community United Methodist Church in East New Market.
He married Vivian Frock Sept. 30, 1975. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley F. Frock.
Survivors include: his wife of 31 years, Vivian Frock, of East New Market; a son, Freddie D. Frock and his wife, Stephaine of Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter, Victoria L. Kline and her husband, Leroy of Hanover, Pa.; a stepson, Darryl Jolley of East New Market; five sisters, Audrey A. Fair and her husband James, of Taneytown, Ruby V. Leese and her husband, William R. of Westminster, Betty L. Austin of Taneytown, Alice L. Fairchild of Morganton, N.C., Doris N. Hansbrough of Hagerstown; a brother, Kenneth K. Frock and his wife of Shippensburg, Pa.; three grandchildren, Dallas, Kline, Atear Unique Frock and Corrina Makayla Darling; two step-grandchildren, Marshon and Ra"Kera; and 16 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tues. at the Faith Community United Methodist Church in East New Market with the Rev. Jonathan Whitney officiating. There will be a viewing two hours before the service at the church.
Burial will follow at the East New Market Cemetery. The Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
