SALISBURY - Janet Givens Nock, 71, died on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at her home in Salisbury. Born in Laurel, she was the only child of the late Glenn Givens and the late Katherine Kinnikin Givens. She was a graduate of the Class of 1961 of Wicomico High School and was very active in planning their Class reunions. She was a faithful Sunday school teacher at Grace United Methodist Church when her children were younger and worked in the insurance industry, first at Washington National and then for People's Life for many years. She was also an active member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Salisbury. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Everett E. Nock Jr.; two daughters, Michelle Renee' Nock and Kimberly Nock Clarkson all of Salisbury; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A funeral service was held on March 12, 2015, at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury. Interment followed in the Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
