James Tyrone Adams

SECRETARY - James Tyrone Adams died Saturday, Apr. 8, 2017, at his residence. Born December 4, 1939, in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry Adams and Rowena Robinson Adams.
For many years he worked as a warehouse manager for Western Publishing and at the time of his death was working as a cemetery attendant at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Beulah.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Adams and wife, Heidi, of Secretary and James T. Adams, Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Woolford; a daughter, Judi Hubble and husband, Rodney, of Hurlock; five grandchildren, Jami Adams Jenkins, Cory Adams, Bryan Adams, Allyson Adams and Andrew Adams; a brother, Thomas H. Adams, Jr. and wife, Wayne, of Cambridge; sister, Daphne Legg and husband, George, of East New Market; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John James "J.J." Adams; and sister, Ernestine Wheatley.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 5 p.m. at Kay's Country Kitchen in Cambridge. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market.
