SALISBURY - James Andrew Wilkins, 86, of Salisbury, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his residence. Born in Powellville, he was the son of the late Ira and Martha Wilkins. He was a retired poultry grower and a truck driver. He enjoyed working with crafts and wood, gardening, farming and being outdoors. He is survived by four children, Debra "Debbie" Lynn Jackson, Kurtis of Pittsville, Daniel Lee Wilkins, John "Andy" Andrew Wilkins, all of Salisbury, and Jo Bingham of Pocomoke City; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Ernest Wilkins of Salisbury; and a sister, Mary Ann Melvin of Harrington. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Wilkins in 2013. A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. at 10:30 a.m. at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury with the Rev. Bob Hudson officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
