SALISBURY - Isabelle Taylor Johnson died Sunday, May 15, 2016, surrounded by her family. Born in Sharptown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Novella Taylor. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Hastings Kelley; and her husband of 67 years, Bill Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Deitra Hales, of Salisbury, and Judy Rogers, of Sharptown; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and several nephews. She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in Sharptown. A funeral service was held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in Sharptown. Interment was in the Sharptown Fireman's Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
