Ida Louise Wilson, 100 CAMBRIDGE - Ida Louise Wilson, 100, of Cambridge, departed this life on Sunday, April 25, 2010, after a short illness. She was born Nov. 15, 1909, in Dorchester County, the only child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mitchell. Ida attended the public schools in Dorchester County, Early in life she moved to Wilmington, Del., later relocating to Cambridge to take care of her mother. She worked at Rob Roy Sewing Factory as a Presser, retiring after many years of faithful service. Ida was married to the late Milton Wilson. She was a faithful member of Bethel AME Church for many years serving on the Usher and Stewardess Board. Even though Ida was a member of Bethel AME Church she never forgot her roots. She would visit Union Chapel AME Church from time to time and always gave her support when needed. Ida was a special, caring person; always willing to help everyone young or old. She leaves to cherish her memory special cousins, Katherine Barber of Wilmington, Del., Pearl Demby of East New Market, and Marvell Walker of Dover, Del., and numerous other cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 1, at Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St Cambridge, with a viewing Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Luke UM Church, 712 Bradley Ave., Cambridge, with Masonic Services beginning at 7 p.m. Interment in Bethel Cemetery.
