SALISBURY - Ida Louise Pusey died Aug. 16, 2017. Born in Wicomico County, she was a daughter of the late George E. Lowe and Georgia E. Lowe. She was the farmer's daughter and married the farmer's son and farmed until 2000. A member of Union United Methodist Church and United States Trotting Association, she helped operate Pusey's Amoco and Grocery Store in the 1950s and '60s on Snow Hill Road. She was married to the late Frederick F. Pusey for 64 years. She is survived by one son, Walter Frederick Pusey of Snow Hill; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Rosalie Lowe, Elma L. Robinson, Peggy A. Jones, Mary Jane Holland and Edna M. Bennett; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Stevenson Hitch; and two brothers, Samuel J. Lowe of Tyaskin and Norman H. Lowe of Salisbury. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
