SALISBURY - Hipolito "Paul" Gracia-Reyes, Sr. died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Antonio Gracia Rodriguez and Juana Ojeda Reyes. A member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, he was a chef for over 35 years in New Jersey and Salisbury. He began a lawn and garden business in 1997. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Suzanne Elizabeth Gracia; three children, Crystal Gracia-Samuel of Florence, N.J., Cato Gracia of Sanford, Fla., and Ernest Gracia of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; two stepchildren, Nanci Durrua of Onancock and Terrance Baumgardner of Milton, W.Va.; 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nine siblings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Hipolito Gracia, Jr.; and two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 12 p.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Freehold, N.J., with an entombment following at the Maplewood Cemetery. Visitations will be held at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
