CAMBRIDGE - Hilda Roberta Jenkins, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in Dorchester General Hospital, Cambridge. She leaves to mourn a daughter, Renata T. Jenkins; sons, Dudley W. of Baltimore, Raymond L. and Timothy T. Jenkins, both of Cambridge; step-son, Anthony Jews of Upper Marlboro; three granddaughters, Valencia Staggs of East New Market, Kristina of Baltimore, and Brittney Jenkins of New York; six grandsons, Dontwain Cornish of North Carolina, Dominique Farrare, Jakobra Jenkins, Otha Wongus III, Tavonne Chase, all of Baltimore, and Taron Thomas of Delaware; two daughters-in-law, Gloria J. Jenkins of Cambridge, and Josephine P. Jenkins of Baltimore; goddaughter, Keshawn Dawson of Cambridge; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Elsbur (Marie) of Cambridge, and Raymond Leo Todd (Betty) of Gary, Ind.; sisters, Rosalie Todd of Baltimore, and Thelma Cornish (Fred) of Cambridge; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2009, at Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge, with a viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
