BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Lee Beebe Jr. rushed for 203 yards, including a 70-yard burst that set up Josh Hoover’s game-sealing 1-yard TD run with 1:56 to play, and No. 5 Indiana held off surprising Northwestern 29-23. The defending national champion Hoosiers extended the Football Bowl Subdivision’s longest active winning streak to 20 games and the longest home winning streak to 19 — but it was a struggle until the final seconds. Northwestern was within 15-13 early in the fourth quarter but failed on a 2-point conversion. The Wildcats made a late field goal but couldn't recover the onside kick.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — Antwan Raymond ran for 140 yards and three touchdowns, and coach Greg Schiano won his 100th game in Rutgers' 58-7 win over Howard. The Scarlet Knights (1-3) scored on 10 of their 12 possessions, totaling 534 yards. Schiano is 100-111 in 18 years over two stints with the Scarlet Knights.

UNDATED (AP) — No. 20 Oregon visits No. 12 Southern California in the biggest game of a huge weekend on the Big Ten schedule. This game offers an opportunity for Oregon to reassert itself as a title contender two weeks after its stunning 39-31 loss at Oklahoma State. Oregon has won its last four matchups with Southern California and hasn’t lost a Big Ten road game since joining the conference in 2024. Another Top 25 Big Ten matchup has No. 18 Michigan hosting No. 17 Iowa.
