CAMBRIDGE - Born in Easton, on July 15, 1918, H. Orville Wyatt was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Sarah Matilda Plummer Wyatt. He graduated in the Class of 1935 from Easton High School. He was married to Shirley Thomas of Cambridge in March of 1943. After having several occupations, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. When he returned to Easton, he went to work for the Easton Post Office. He then transferred to the Lancaster Post Office in Pennsylvania and attended the Bowman Technical School where he studied watch making for two years. In 1946, Mr. Wyatt returned to Easton and spent one year working for Tubman Jewelers. In 1947, he founded Wyatt's Jewelers, operating it until he retired in January 1979. Mr. Wyatt was a member of the Elks Lodge of Easton, Easton Rotary for 50 years, past president of the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce, AARP, Talbot County Country Club member for over 40 years, Talbot Dance Club, Gold Room Dance Club, Crystal Dance Club, and a charter member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. His interests included golfing and boating. In addition to his wife, Mr. Wyatt is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ellen Brogan of Arnold. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 29, at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Easton. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Easton. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Dr., Easton, MD 21601 (www.talbothospice.org) or American Cancer Society, P.O.
