Murphy, 41 BALTIMORE - Gregory Paton Murphy, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012. He was born in Cambridge on August 29, 1970, son of John and Barbara Murphy of White Hall Road. Greg attended Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and graduated in 1988. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and spent four years serving in Texas, Montana, and Germany. He earned his bachelor's degree from Frostburg University and was awarded Dean's list honors in 1995, graduated in 1996, and also served as vice president of the Delta Chi fraternity. Mr. Murphy has been employed with Verizon Wireless for many years as National Accounts Manager, US Air Force. He will be remembered with such love for his wonderful personality and his infectious smile and love for his family, his children, and his many, many friends. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Ann; children, Quinn William and Molly Grace; parents, John and Barbara Murphy, of Cambridge; his devoted brother, J. Scott Murphy and his wife Terri; nephew, Ben; niece, Abbey; aunt and uncle, Pat and Robert Jones, Glenda and Martin Tolley; brother-in-law, William T. Rein, son-in-law of William and Diane Rein; many cousins, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by a favorite uncle, William Oscar Murphy, husband to Linda Webb Murphy. There are no words to express our gratitude and appreciation for all the friends who have supported Greg and our family through the years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 6428 York Rd, Baltimore, today at 1 p.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Ruck Towson Funeral Home Inc., Baltimore.
