CORDOVA - Gregory Alexander Webb, 51, passed away on Friday, Feb. 16, 2007.

He was born Sept. 7, 1955, in Preston, son of Frances V. Webb and the late Wilmer Magee, better known as Mickey.

Mr. Webb was educated in the Caroline County public schools. He graduated in 1973 from Colonel Richardson High School.

On Feb. 14, 1997, he married the former Veronica Warner.

Mr. Webb was employed as a tractor-trailer driver, retiring from R. L. Ewing Trucking in 2003 because of illness.

He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Longwood. He was a member of the United Methodist Men.

Besides his mother of Seaford, Del., and his wife of Cordova, he is survived by a daughter, Lynette Webb and one son, Gregory Webb, both of Easton; two stepsons, Walton Warner and Michael Johnson; mother-in-law, Helen Milbourne of Cordova; two grandchildren, Mytara Chester and Marissa Hampton; five stepgrandchildren, Daesha Warner, Mya Johnson, Leonard Johnson, Jayla Johnson and Logan Warner. Mr. Webb is also survived by three sisters, Rosetta Brown (David) of Hurlock, Vanessa Magee of Seaford and Wanda Ward (Alfonza) of Seaford; six brothers, Anthony Magee (Tina) of Salisbury, Charles Webb Sr. (Veronica) of Seaford, Warren Magee of Seaford, Michael Magee of Seaford, William Webb of Delmar, Md., and Keith Trammell of Seaford. Also surviving are three aunts, Alfreda Holland of Preston, Beatrice Craft of Federalsburg, Bertha Ann Kellum of Bridgeville, Del.; three uncles, Carlton Magee of Dover, Charles Webb of Grasonville, Dennis Webb of Preston; four great-aunts, Edna Nichols, Carrie Jones, Lottie Friend, all of Preston, Margaret Beulah of Federalsburg and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church in Bethlehem. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Preston.

Family and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Easton, and from 11 a.m. to noon at the church on Saturday.
