Grace Esther Nichols

HEBRON - Grace Esther Nichols died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Bessie Messick.
She worked at Cherokee Lanes bowling alley and for 13 years and worked in the deli at Food Lion before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Joshua G. Nichols; a sister, Barbara Murray; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond "Buddy" Edward Nichols in September; five brothers, Robert, Richard, Danny, Melvin Jr., and Lester Messick; and sister, Ruby Ford.
A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
