The Good Beer Festival will have a fun new vibe this year, as it moves to a Friday and Saturday – this weekend – at Pemberton Historical Park in Salisbury.

The Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism festival is in its ninth year.

There will be 100 craft brews, live music, food and craft vendors, Carni Beer Games, and The Pub, an entertainment area with karaoke on Friday and a broadcast of sports on Saturday. The festival also features cornhole tournaments and oversized games to partake in.

“We’re excited about the Good Beer Festival’s move to a Friday and Saturday event,” said Vanessa Junkin, Assistant Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism. “The atmosphere is going to be awesome.”

The Local Beer Garden will be back this year, featuring 12 breweries: 3rd Wave Brewing Co., Backshore Brewing Co., Burley Oak Brewing Company, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Evolution Craft Brewing Co., Fin City Brewing Co., Key Brewing Co., Mispillion River Brewing, RaR Brewing, Reckless Ale Works, Rubber Soul Brewing Co. and Tall Tales Brewing Co.

The festival will also feature beer from more than 40 other breweries.

Tasting tickets include a 3-ounce glass and as many samples as one can responsibly consume.

Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Regular tickets will be available at the cost of $35 for tasting tickets and $10 for non-tasting tickets. Fees may apply.
