SALISBURY - George William Stephens, 43, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury as the result of injuries from a car accident.
He was the son of Patricia Oakley Stephens of Ocean City and the late Robert L. Stephens Sr.
Mr. Stephens was the former President and CEO of Ocean to Ocean Seafood, LLC, a subsidiary of Icelandic, USA, INC. He was a member of St. Peter"s Episcopal Church.
He graduated from Mardela High School in 1981, and Salisbury University with a BS in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration. He was a Certified Public Accountant.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Phillips Stephens; three children, Morgan, 14, Abigail, 12 and Molly, 11; a brother, Robert L. Stephens Jr. and his wife, Beth; grandmother, Barbara Brooks Oakley; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Barbara Phillips, all of Salisbury; aunts and uncles: Frank and Kathleen Durkee of Monkton, George and Jean Oakley Jr., Henry and Deborah Oakley and Bill and Kay Stephens, all of Salisbury and Carroll and Jean Smith of Delmar. He is also survived by several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Peter"s Episcopal Church in Salisbury. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., at Holloway Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Father David Tontonoz will officiate. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery in Hebron.
