OCEAN CITY, Md. - George L. Ralph, Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on September 11, 2021. Born in Dover, Del., to father George L. Ralph and mother Charlotte O'Brien who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his beloved son, George L. Ralph III; and siblings, Clara May Truitt and Arthur Monigle.
Mr. Ralph grew up in Salisbury, Md. and always lived life to the fullest. He carried on his family business as George L. Ralph Inc. where he worked for many years. After that time, he had many businesses throughout his lifetime. He loved all kinds of racing and attended many car races throughout the United States. Mr. Ralph was a former race car driver (#31) in the Can-Am series. He was a devoted Baltimore Colts and Ravens football fan and had a love of the water. He enjoyed spending time with his family and lifelong friends and going to his Florida residence in the winter months. Mr. Ralph will be forever missed by many. Loving memories will be cherished by his survivors including his son Shawn Ralph (Jessica Ralph), and grandchildren Ian, Gage, Gavin and Grayson Ralph; Daughter-in-law Margot Ralph and grandchildren Hailey DiGrazio (Danny DiGrazio) and Rachel Ralph (Lucas); Sisters Mimi Wieland and Gail Moore; longtime friend Sara Jones and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home with an hour prior visitation.
