Free Coronavirus testing planned for Wednesday

The Wicomico County Health Department will hold free Covid-19 testing on Wednesday.

This testing is open to the general public and will take place at Tabernacle of Prayer Church at 143 Mitchell Road in Salisbury from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- ot until tests run out.

Those seeking a test are asked to enter in their cars from Mitchell Road.

Walk-ups are also welcome.

The tests involve a nasal swab, and the swab is a little bigger than a Q-Tip.

No appointment or doctor’s referral needed.

Interpreters will be on site if needed.

Health Department officials said that at this time they do not have antibody testing available.
