EAST NEW MARKET - Frank Wayne Era, 70, of East New Market, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge. Born on Nov. 22, 1940, in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Frank Arthur Era and Ruth Louise Hurst Era. Mr. Era served in the US Army. He was a retired truck driver for Preston Trucking where he had worked for thirty years. He also worked part time for the Dorchester County Sheriff's Department as a deputy for ten years. Mr. Era was an honorary member of the Secretary Volunteer Fire Company and Choptank Lodge AF&AM in East New Market. He was a former scout leader and was a former member of Cambridge Jaycees. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Doris L. Era of East New Market; four daughters, Donna Era of East New Market, Robyn Webster of Cambridge, twin daughters Melanie Cahall and her husband Eric of Easton and Michele Rahe and her husband Danny, Jr. of Trappe; seven grandchildren, Ryan Zeinog, Laura Zeinog, Brooke Webster, Tyler Cahall, Jordyn Cahall, Travis Rahe and Kaysie Rahe; several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Danna Zeinog; a brother, Edward Era; and a sister, Audrey Wright. The family received friends on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market. A graveside service was held Monday, Nov. 28, 2010, at 11 a.m., at East New Market Cemetery. Rev. John Cahall officiated. Ryan Zeinog, Travis Rahe, Tyler Cahall, Eric Cahall, Danny Rahe, Jr., and Roy Wells served as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to Secretary Volunteer Fire Company, P.O.
